Frequently Asked Questions

Why are custom motorized drapery expensive?

The high cost is due to so many factors, includes type of track, custom curtain design and fabrication, installation and possibly more. Motorized drapery consists of motorized track, custom made drapery to your specific size, and requested style. Which usually includes another layer of drapery with another fabric called a Liner, whose basic purpose is to protect the drapery from the harsh rays of sun. How can you motorize a drapery?

We mount the drapery track to the wall or ceiling. Add the curtain fabric the mount a drapery motor to the side of the custom drapery track. Can you motorize a rod with rings?

Generally, the motorization happens as the carriers are all connected via the hidden cord to the motor. Which is mounted on the side of the track. Typical poles with rings can not be motorized, unless you have wood fascia motorized wood pole, that has faux half circle rings covering the carriers.
